Day 1
Arrival Entebbe International Airport – Transfer to Kampala City

Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be welcomed by our company representative and safari guide who will transfer you to the hotel reserved for you in Kampala. The 10 days game viewing combined with gorilla and chimpanzee trekking safari briefing will be done right before dinner at the hotel where you will be spending the night. The next early morning we begin this adventurous safari you have all been preparing for.

Day 2
Ziwa Rhino Tracking - Transfer to Murchison falls national park

After breakfast begin the panoramic drive northwest through the famous Luwero Triangle, en-route stop to visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary the only place where you can meet these members of the big five family in the wilderness, This visit will provide you with an opportunity to go closer to these peaceful giants to have clearer view and photo moment. Later proceed to Masindi Town for lunch and later drive to Murchison Falls National Park to explore the top of the falls. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3
Murchison falls NP – Morning game drive - Afternoon boat cruise – Evening game drive

Enjoy breakfast and head out for morning game drive your guide will help you to spot elephant, lion, cape buffalo, Roth child’s giraffe, hartebeest, water buck, oribi, bush buck, bohor reed buck, hyena and if you are lucky, the leopard. Retire for lunch break and later go for an afternoon boat safari upstream the calm Victoria Nile to the base of the falls stopping just few of meters from the ‘Devil’s Cauldron’, marvel at the toothsome hippos, home of crocodiles and over the 17 km stretch you may see elephant, water buck and Uganda Kob. This is also the zone of many birds, species like goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, horn bill, cormorant and the rare shoe bill stork and by chance you might meet the lake shore hunters. After taking shorts of the photogenic Murchison Falls. After this amazing boat cruise safari make a simple evening game drive specifically in search for the big cats. Return to your Lodge dinner and overnight.

Day 4
Morning game drive – Transfer to Kibale forest national park – Evening nature walk to Bigodi swamp

After breakfast check out, drive to Kibale Forest National Park with morning game drive through the park and this will award you with an opportunity to see some animals you missed during previous game drive. The drive takes you through little towns and villages as you observe the African rhythm of life. On arrival, check in to your preferred accommodation to relax and later go for an evening nature walk to Bigodi sanctuary nature walk. Kibale forest national park is proudly known to have the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The most famous of its 13 species is the Chimpanzee, our closest relative. Kibale 1450 Chimpanzee represent Uganda’s largest population of this endangered primate. Kibale is also a home to the rare I’Hoest’s monkey. Other primates include the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few. Dinner and overnight.

Kibale National Park - Morning Chimp Trekking - Queen Elizabeth National Park

Have breakfast then transfer to Kibale Forest National Park headquarters for briefing before setting off for a forest walk in search for chimpanzees. The forest walk will be guided to provide information not only on chimpanzees and primates but also on small organisms making it interesting. The walk will reward you with other primates like Grey cheeked Mangabeys, Colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys, lhoestes, and butterflies. After tracking the chimps go the lodge for refreshments lunch and start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, the park is nestled between two lakes, George and Edward with the kazinga channel joining the two, its lush Savannah offers prime grazing ground for the African buffaloes, African elephants and various antelopes, the parks hosts over 600 bird species. Drive straight to the lodge check in and go evening nature walks to explore the crater lakes. Dinner and Overnight.

Day 6
Early Morning game drive – Afternoon Boat cruise - Evening game drive

Early rise today, 06:00 am grab your breakfast and out to catch the lions, hyenas hunting before they disappear into the thickets. Other animals to see on the game drive are; cape buffalo, the handsome Uganda kob, warthog, elephant, leopard, water buck. At 03:00 pm, take a cruise on the Kazinga channel a haven for over 600 bird types, hippo, crocodile, Cape buffalo and later go for another evening game drive through Kasenyi tracker and this will be specifically to search for the big hunters of the park such as Lions, Leopard, Spotted hyenas and many others since evening is their prime time to looking for their survival and expect to find them in action. Later return to the lodge for relaxation and dinner.

Morning game through Ishasha sector – Transfer Bwindi National Park

Wake up to have breakfast before continuing to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

A home to the half of the world’s Mountain Gorillas with a game drive through Ishasha sector.

To search for the amazing tree climbing lions and after collecting memories.

Here continue with the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park for the thrilling mountain gorilla experience.

Arrive to check in, relax and go for an evening village walk or souvenir shopping in the local craft shops if time allows.

Dinner and overnight.

Day 8
Morning gorilla trekking –Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi – Evening canoeing

After 06:45 am breakfast, head to the information center for a briefing before embarking on the long awaited trek. Gorilla trekking may last only for 3 hours or up to 8 hours or more of the day sometimes with rain overhead so be prepared with sturdy hiking boots, waterproof jacket. After a satisfactory trek, return to lodge for a well-deserved hot shower and lunch and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for evening canoeing on Lake Bunyonyi.

Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo National Park – Evening game drive

After breakfast with great memories of the mountain gorillas depart Lake Bunyonyi heading to Lake Mburo National Park the best place in the country to see the gigantic eland antelope, as well as zebra, topi, impala, and several acacia-associated birds. On arrival to the park enjoy the drive en route to the overnight accommodation. Wildlife here include: the elusive leopard, jackals, hyenas, zebra and the newly introduced giraffes among others. Drive straight to the lodge to have lunch relax as you are viewing the park and in the evening go for an amazing game drive in search for the wildlife of the park. Lake Mburo is the only park in Uganda with few predators and it is the best for biking and nature walk safaris. Dinner and overnight.

Lake Mburo NP – Morning horseback riding – Entebbe international airport

Wake up for breakfast before going out on horseback riding safari– a nature walk on horses for 2 hours in the park accompanied by an armed ranger will be one of the best since you get the opportunity to get closer to the inhabitants of the park and photo moment. Return to the lodge for another set of breakfast and then embark on the drive to Entebbe with a stopover at Kayabwe equator point for the water experience and to buy souvenirs and have lunch later drive straight to Entebbe international airport for your return flight back home with great experience of gorilla.
