Uganda is a destination ripe with adventure-from gorilla trekking in Bwindi Forest National Park; watching Golden Monkeys jump from branch to branch in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park; to viewing stunning cascades at Sipi Falls or Murchinson Falls.
From primate trekking; chimpanzee tracking; to birdwatching endemic species.

The rainforest has over 400 known species of flora. However, most visitors come for a chance to see around half of the world’s population of the endangered Mountain Gorillas.
There are over 500 gorillas that are known to roam the forest as of 2019.
If you thought the gorilla wildlife was stunning, then you would be even more surprised to come across some of the other 120 mammals at Bwindi Forest National Park: baboons, chimpanzees, elephants or antelopes.

You may stumble upon elusive mammals like buffalo, leopard, bush pig elephant, and duiker. Birdwatcher?
The park is a home to 325 bird species from the dusky crimsonwing to the blue-headed sunbird.

Tips for 2020 African Wildlife Safaris

1. Be open minded, every safari is unique and unpredictable, so do not stress out.
2. Make sure you book your safari early enough especially after the increase in gorilla permit fee from $600 to $700 that begins in june 2020. Any booking before this date, you are likely to use old prices.

3. Be safe and obey the rules. Stay in the car and all times and do not come close to the wild animals.

4. Ask questions from your safari guides who are very knowledgeable and always willing to share all the information.

5. Ask to stop when you see something from a distance or want to take more photos of animals.

6. Take lots of pictures when you see something or an animal. It may be the last time you see it. You can take as many photos as possible and you can delete them later.

7. The more people on safari, the less the cost, so consider coming with your family and friends.

8. Talk to your doctor about the vaccinations you may need before you come.

9. Always have insect repellents on while on safari.

10. We recommend you bring a very good sun screen.
